I’m a retired Aerospace Engineering Director and have been interested in astronomy and space since watching the Apollo missions in my childhood. I’ve been an avid amateur astronomer since the 1980’s and have gotten serious about astrophotography in the last several years. I do my imaging – sometimes remotely, sometimes on site – from my observatory in Mariposa, California, near Yosemite National Park.
I am a member of the Riverside Astronomical Society (http://www.rivastro.org ) in Southern California, where I am involved in the outreach program. When I’m not taking pictures of the night sky, I enjoy traveling with my wife, spending time with my family and playing the guitar.
